TOP 3 Begginer Books to "begin" reading, well, NOW! Pretty Please...

1. "Makers Diet" by Jordan Rubin
This is a fantastic story like book about this man's journey to health. I can't say enough about the content in this book! This was one of the first books I read on my health journey--I couldn't put it down! I refer back to it often (it contains recipes too). If you want to kick start your health journey, his diet plan to "detox" is PHENOMENAL! (And how I lost those last 10 stubborn pounds my body would NOT let go!)

2. Dr Kenneth Bock's Healing the New Childhood Epidemics: Autism, ADHD, Asthma, and Allergies

3. "Gut and Psychology Syndrome" by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride M.D.
I read this early on and it was a little much. However, there is a time and place for this AMAZING book filled with SO MUCH technical, important information!  It addresses Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, ADD/HD, Depression, Schizophrenia,  and a WHOLE bunch of other diet related illnesses and disease.

There are MANY others! For sure not just "3"
1. Dr Mark Hyman's " Blood Sugar Solution"
2. Sally Fallon's  "Nourishing Traditions"
If you choose to begin reading, please let me know what you think! I would love to hear from you!

I haven't read the Maker's Diet but I have Jordin Rubin's Perfect Weight. I'm sure it's the same or very similiar!

Yes! All of Rubin's books are alike. GREAT information. Makers diet is the diet I refer back to to clean out :) sort of speak. Excellent detox! Thanks for the comment!

Excellent choices! I have read them all, and these are top of the list, although I would also add "Water: for health, for healing, for life" by F. Batmanghelidj and "Nourishing Wisdom" by Marc David.

Wow, this is such an old post! I have read a lot since then :) There are so many good books out there! GAPS is fabulous! Accidental Cure by Dr Simon Yu, MMS by Jim Humble, The Whole Soy Story and several on the truth behind vaccines. Hard to pick a top 3 :)
